Remote Filter Preferences

To open this window, click the menu at the top of the and then click Preferences.... Then click the Filters icon at the top of the window, and then click the Remote Filters tab at the bottom of the window.

The Remote Filters require an active Spamfire Filter Subscription. The Remote Filters are published by the servers and are used to improve your filtering accuracy.

What you can see on this window

You can see the total number of Remote Filters currently being published. You can also see how many new Remote Filters have been published in the last 30 days. Typically, Matterform publishes hundreds of new Remote Filters every day.

What you can do in this window

Click Test Remote Filters... to confirm that the Remote Filters are working properly on your computer. The Remote Filters use a core internet technology called DNS. If the Remote Filters test fails, it may indicate a network setting problem on your computer. Contact your ISP for assistance with your DNS settings, or contact Matterform Tech Support if you need more info.
