Setting up email accounts manually

If your email program is not listed in the Spamfire Setup Assistant, or if you use a Web browser to read your email, you must set up your accounts in Spamfire manually.

You have several choices about how to do this.

If you use a Web browser to read your mail, you must add your email accounts to the Spamfire Preferences window. Click the Next button in the Setup Assistant until the Setup Assistant is complete. Then open the Spamfire Preferences window and follow these instructions.

If you use an email program to check POP3 accounts, we recommend that you make settings changes in your email program to point your email program to Spamfire. Here's how to do this.

If you use an email program to check IMAP accounts, you must add your email accounts in the Spamfire Preferences window. Click the Next button in the Setup Assistant until the Setup Assistant is complete. Then open the Spamfire Preferences window and follow these instructions.
